Our Vision
To inspire future generations of Filipino descent to embrace their identity and take pride in their heritage.
Our founder, Gladys Zamora, was born in the Philippines and raised in Bataan before moving to Manila to pursue higher education. She earned a dual degree from St. Paul University—a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
Gladys now resides in the Houston, Texas area with her husband. She has two grown sons and a daughter-in-law, who bring her great joy and continue to inspire her work, including the creation of this website.
The website, My Lola G, is named in her honor. “Lola” means grandmother in Tagalog, celebrating the vital role grandmothers play in preserving culture, traditions, and family stories—a legacy that is deeply meaningful to Gladys.
Professionally, Gladys serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer at a commercial real estate company in Texas and is a licensed CPA. She is an active member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Sugar Land, Texas, and participates in numerous charitable and religious organizations, reflecting her strong commitment to community, service, and faith.
