A soft, creamy fruit with fragrant, custard-like flesh and a delicate sweetness that melts in your mouth!
Anonas (ah-NO-nas) – The Filipino name for custard apple, closely related to atis.
Anonas has a thin, greenish-yellow skin with soft, aromatic flesh inside. The taste is a mix of sweet vanilla and tropical custard, similar to atis but smoother and milder. Its texture is creamy with a few black seeds scattered throughout.
Usually eaten fresh — just slice it open, remove the seeds, and enjoy the sweet pulp with a spoon. Best chilled or added to fruit salads and smoothies.
Anonas trees bear fruit during the dry months (March to June) and are common in backyards and local markets across the Philippines.
Rich in vitamin C, potassium, and dietary fiber — helps boost immunity, support digestion, and promote healthy skin.
