  • Bignay (BIG-nai) – The Filipino name for these native berries.  
  • Bignay tastes sweet-tart, like a mix between cranberries and grapes.  
  • Often eaten fresh, made into wine, jams, or juice.  
  • Usually harvested from May to July.
